The USC MPA program’s primary mission is to educate professionals to assume leadership positions for public service and to improve the state of the art in the governance and management of public and nonprofit organizations.(MPA旨在培养专业人士在公共服务领域方面的领导技能，提高公共组织和非盈利机构的治理与管理能力)

南加州大学公共管理专业——申请要求：
1.专业背景：不限;但有先修课要求(一般是在本科学校修完，当然也可以在被认可的大学里面修完)：
Statistics：可以通过两种方式获得：1)Statistics Course Taken Prior to Enrollment in the MPA-在MPA项目入学前完成，即在MPA修读的3年时间内完成大学成都的统计课程，并获得“B”或以上的成绩;2)PPD 502x – Statistical Foundations for Public Management and Policy-如果学生没有达到上面要求，学生便须修读PPD 502x课程，并获得“B”或以上的成绩。
Undergraduate Social Sciences Courses (12 units)：学生在录取到MPA项目时，没有完成12学分的本科社会科学课程的话，录取信中会说明此问题。那么，这些课程可以在任意被认可的大学或学院修完，成绩必须是C或以上，且必须是MPA项目开始前的12个学分。
2.GPA：3.0/4.0
3.托福：需要(学校代码：4852)
4.GRE：需要，如果有5年全职工作经历，便可联系学校招生办，申请豁免G。他也接受GMAT。
5.截止日期：
秋季：December 15 (scholarship deadline)，July 1 (final deadline) ;
春季：November 1;
夏季：April 1
